Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
On this day, the guide will pick up you from the hotel or place of residence and transfer to Volcanoes. Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Pac des Volcanoes
Have breakfast and go for briefing after that set off in the forest for Gorilla trekking. A thrilling trek through the refined foothills of the Virunga provides inspiring views in all directions. Day 3. Drive to Uganda, Visit Lake Burela
After your breakfast, you will be driven to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will cross the border via Kisoro then clear at the boarder – Uganda is 1 hour ahead of Rwanda. Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of the trip- Gorilla trekking, which may last the entire day. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 meters from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes. Day 5: Bwindi-Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After early breakfast head for Ishasha, which is the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, carry out a game drive where you may sight tree-climbing lions. Ishasha is dominated by acacia woodland and scrubland and features the meandering Ishasha River, banked by a riparian forest. After picnic lunch drive all the way to the northern sector of the park. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning game drives to see more animals that habit this park, that include predators’ lion. Queen Elizabeth National is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda. It borders on Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel in the western area of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After lunch take a 2-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes with elephants at the banks. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Return to Kigali for a city tour and transfer to airport.
Following breakfast, you will leave for Kigali. You have the opportunity to visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Museum. The memorial is very moving – the tour takes a couple of hours – and will be of interest to anyone who has spent some time in this enchanting country. It is in memory of the multitudes murdered in Rwanda´s genocide 1994. The Memorial sites and centers are places of dignified remembrance for loved ones lost. It is also a place of reflection and learning for the wider community, both in Rwanda and internationally. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport
